We are excited to announce Adult Ballet classes are coming to Charlesworth Ballet School from 2024!
It’s never too late to start your dance journey! Ballet is a great way to stay active and have fun, as well as, improve posture, flexibility, and coordination. We have classes to introduce newbies to the world of ballet and classes for returning dancers!
Taught by our esteemed professional Teaching Artists, we offer classes for adults (18+) for all levels and abilities. So why wait? Put on your dancing shoes and twirl your way into the magical world of ballet! You’ll be amazed at what you can achieve!
Beginners Classes
New to ballet or wanting to ease yourself back in and refresh your ballet basics? Our beginners intensive program is the perfect place for you.
With classes running in three week blocks, lessons will run for 2 hours and will be focused on providing an intense, thorough, full body workout focused on beginner ballet technique
Class structure will include the following:
- Floor Barre focusing on strength, conditioning and alignment
- Classical ballet barre work
- Classical ballet centre
- An extended cool down incorporating flexibility exercises
These classes are suitable for all ages and no prior experience is required. They are a great place to meet likeminded people, try new things and not take yourself too seriously.

Open Classes
Our open classes are perfect for people who have a degree of ballet experience and are looking for a bit of a challenge.
These classes are suitable for participants with a range of ballet knowledge and ability and can be tailored to suit different experience levels.
These classes are a great way to meet like minded people and share the joy of dance.
In 2026 our Adult Open Classes will run on Friday mornings 9:30am to 10:30am at North Perth, beginning from Friday 16th January.

1 class – $23
10 classes – $200
20 classes – $380
These can be purchased directly from our office staff, please call 9475 0320 to organise or pop in Monday to Thursday 9.30am – 2.30pm.
