Our Grade 4 Ballet program offers a comprehensive approach to skill development, with students participating in two one-hour classes each week: a Level 1 class and a Level 2 class. Each level focuses on distinct aspects of Classical Ballet, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience.
Level 1
- Introduction to new classical ballet positions and movements.
- Eurhythmics combined with acting elements for creative expression.
- Character Dance performance techniques.
- Fitness and physical development.
Completion of the Level 1 class is a pre-requisite for participating in Level 2 classes. These classes are at the following locations:

Level 2
Held at our main studios, this class builds upon foundational skills to:
- Further refine classical ballet technique.
- Enhance strength, flexibility, and overall performance quality.
- Prepare students for their annual grade examination and end-of-year (EOY) productions.
Participation in the Level 2 class is essential for students wishing to perform in our EOY productions, providing them with the skills and confidence to shine on stage.

Grade Four examinations
Grade Four students have the opportunity to participate in Classical Ballet examinations in a supportive and encouraging environment, designed to inspire confidence and celebrate their progress.
These assessments are conducted in a positive atmosphere, free from fear or undue pressure. At the end of Term 3, students receive a certificate and a detailed report, recognises their achievements and growth throughout the year. Itβs a rewarding experience that motivates them to continue excelling in their ballet journey!
