Grade One Ballet

Grade One Ballet lessons build upon the foundation established in our Pre-Primary classes, focusing on nurturing each child’s unique dance quality. These classes continue to develop concentration and confidence while enhancing musicality and coordination.

Through imaginative exercises and acting opportunities, children explore improvisation, fostering creativity and expression. New basic classical ballet positions and movements are introduced to solidify their progress and deepen their understanding of classical ballet.

These one-hour lessons are held once a week, with some sessions running alongside Grade Two classes. Join us at any of our convenient locations and watch your child’s skills and passion for ballet grow!

At the end of each year, our students have the exciting opportunity to perform in our magical end-of-year ballet productions! These shows feature beloved classics like The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, and more.

Every student gets the chance to shine on stage, dancing alongside industry professionals and Youth Ballet WA performers at some of Perth’s most prestigious theatres. It’s an unforgettable experience that celebrates their hard work, growth, and love for ballet!
